BRAWL Brawl saw the light of day in 1998 after a jam session at Garbo Dancing (R.I.P). Influenced by NY hardcore bands such as Hatebreed and Agnostic Front the band focused on keeping the sound simple, brutal and free of the clean vocal parts that far too many other bands throw in the mix. The band has had many different lineups over the years, and founding members Nicklas and Geir are the only ones left from the original 4-piece. Today the band has grown to a 5-piece, and consists of Ola and Ivar on guitars, Geir on bass, Pål on drums and Nicklas on vocals. The lineup has changed many times over the past 9 years, but the band sounds more brutal and energetic today than it has ever done before. Proof of this can be found on Brawl's newest release, a 7 track EP entitled "Spitting Rage", which is out now on Sounds of Unity. |
