OBLITERATION Obliteration was founded at Kolbotn in 2001 by four very young men bent on destruction. The band consists of Sindre on vocals, Arild on guitar, Didrik on bass and Kristian on drums. Inspired by Slayer, Obituary, Darkthrone, Deicide, Morbid Angel, Suffocation, Death and Possessed, it soon became evident that brutal death metal was their game. Displaying impressive technical skills for such a young band, Obliteration soon caught the attention of the underground metal scene in Oslo with a demo and a spot at the 2005 Inferno Festival. In 2005 they also released the 7" EP 'Total Fucking Obliteration' on Duplicate Records in cooperation with Sounds of Unity. In december of 2006 Obliteration signed with Tyrant Syndicate/Peaceville Records and will be releasing their debut album this spring. |
